Another 1st for Skinny

Last night I was asked to a Christening...

Now its for the baby girl of my brothers best mate and in a way, a brother as well.

I have also been asked to do the photos for the event and for that and the memory's I would love to do it but then at the same time, I have to think of the way I feel about the church.

I'm not going to get into it but you can never get away from the things you don't like....

So you should just get over it.

ShelterMe

Friday night was going to be a chilled night but...... I swear I have written that before.

ShelterMe was a night put on at Hidden last Friday, A free charity event for "Shelter" a charity that helps find the homeless a place to say and getting them a home of there own.

Anyways... I was set to chill out when I got a text from a friend offering me a ticket to the event and I really felt up for a good dance, Fluff was not feeling it so I went out by myself.

So Much For Goth?

Last week we went to see a Steam Punk and Goth exhibition.

Fluff, Queenie and I met up at Barbican to see this "Something Different" exhibition...

The long and short of it was that there was a talk about how the east and west have mixed fashion and bounced ideas from each other for the last 2000 years or so.

The chat was ok and it was funny hearing people talk about cloths in such an arty (farty) way. But then when we went on a walk to see the exhibition itself... There was nothing in the way of goth or steam punk at all, just some messed up half manga/easten looking cloths that are made for the CATWALK and just look like shit...

I'm sorry I know some people live that kind of fashion but I'm a man that does love fashion... but it has to be real fashion non of that zoolander Stuff

Skinny... College boy?

Wednesday is now a College day for me, as from last week I am now a college boy hehe.... that does sound so bad. On the day we did not spend very much time in the class room and got out on of the room and had a walk all over the campus to get 10 photos (An Portrait, An image shot at f3.5 etc)

After We had the 10 pics ready we went back to the classroom and went through all the shots together. I was really worried as I did not think my stuff was that good but I was relived to see that everyone's was about the same... no one really stud out but no one was shit as well. I'm looking forward to next week now and to hand in the home work of "Green London"

When I finished I had a little buzz on so I walked around the area to get some more pics. The last one here is from The Imperial War Museum.

Call Of Duty First Strike add on Coming

For all the COD players out there, We had a game add on coming on the 1st of Feb called "First Strike" and will come to Xbox360 1st for for a time at the cost of 1200MSP

This is from Activision site and I quote "We can't wait to deliver Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike to our fans, which has four all-new Black Ops multiplayer maps, and an exciting new Zombiemap to be declassified later. "

For New maps including Berlin Wall, Discovery, Stadium and Kowloon, and a new Zombie map called Ascension. So I am sure that we will be having alot of fun come February!!

The Bedford (5/1/2011)

Tonight we went down to The Bedford in Balham for a gig with HappyStreet, Not the 1st but I'm sure its not going to be the last...

There was one other band and 3 more solo performances.

Tom Bradley Did a few songs and was liked very much by the ladies in the crowd and Fluff liked his voice....

BoxFire reminded me a lot of Kings of Leon but I really liked them. I a little harder then the others but they did have a drum kit lol.
