Spits This week

Well with Spits this week we had a big turn out, Lots of new faces and the smiling ones of old hands.

I worked on the 2 moves that i needed but got down one I did not even know I could do, Nice when that happens, I do have some film from Tuesday but as anyone that's talked with me of late knows that my computer is being really shitty. So I'm going to have to wait to make something of the footage (edit, crop and music).

Day at the Queen's

Just as we left Stockholm, both Fluff and I wanted to get some cinnamon buns but my one was so dry that I could not eat it. So as Queenie and Fluff were in a cooking mood, I got my bun after all.

Mondays Trip Out

We went off to see the Queen today, Nothing much planed but as we had not seen her in such a long time we made a move up to hers.

One of the troubles of living in London is knowing that every weekend there's at least one tube thats not working, This weekend it was the line that Queenie lives on so we had to go to another station. While waiting for her to pick up up, Fluff and I went on a little walk around the station and we found some nice flowers, just growing up in this car park.

Sunday In Covent Garden

A few months ago we went to Le Pain Quotidien with Happy-Street. On Sunday Fluff and Me headed up to get some lunch.

We both really wanted to get some greens so we got a chicken salad... pics below

After a lowly meal we had a little look at the sweets and very un-characteristically I got something for afters... Its called a Pavlova and hmmmmmmmmm yummy

Plan for Tuesdays Spits

Every time I get to go up to spits I just spin and chat or chat and not spin at all but this week I'm trying to get a little plan together. As I have been working on my staff of late, my poi is kinda getting dusty.

I am going to be doing staff as well but I wanna work on 2 different moves 1st Caps and then Pirouttes. both moves dont look like WOW but I belive that both will add a little something to my skills and make myself feel a little more spinny

Another Saturday night in

This is becoming a thing of mine now, The weekends used to mean so much but these days its just hard work going out at the weekends. Thinking of going out and doing some poi tomorrow but as its pissing down in rain right now it could end up being wet as well.

Just been looking at some old glowstring vids from Youtube.com, Itsreally bring some old memorys back from the good old days of poi, I say good old day but I mean when only glowsticking was the only poi that I knew (the last time that I felt like a poi master)

These days I feel lost when I'm around my poi friend as most of them could spin me under the table... Everything from Isolations and anti-spin just makes my head spin. (no pun intended)

I missed the Fire!!

I herd that some of the guys from spits were going to to spin some fire on the Wednesday after I got back and I have just seen a video from the event.

As you can guess, I'm kinda pissed at myself for not going. They called it "The Full Moon Fire Gathering" and as the next full moon is not till round the 27th I'm going to have to wait a month.

So this Sunday, if the weathers good (I'm told it might be shitty) I'm going to spin some fire and have some fun with myself, If anyone is up for it then let me know and I'll let you know if it happens or not
