Playing in LightRoom!

Ive just been watching some clips on youtube and from froknowsphoto.com

And it gave me an idea, how about a play with some of the 1000s of images I have taken since I have had my camera, and see what I can make out of them using LightRoom.

The incident!

From the people that I have seen this week, you know but for the rest here is the skinny.

I was going up to Leytonstone to see some friends as as the Vicky line was down I had to make a different rote.

Trouble is that everything was trying to stop me, The local bus stops had "incident" all over them and no buses where coming, some kinda crash happened in Camberwell and I had to go on a maga mission to get around that (let along the trouble on the tube).

Anyways this "incident" was still messing with my life 3 days later, I just had to pop shop for some litter for Binx and I saw a news paper with some details about this incident.

Turns out that the driver "Blacked out" hit a gas main as well as taking out 2 different shop windows, It looks like no one was hurt to badly but traffic is going to be fucked for a while I think

The sand of the Colosseum

I was just watching a movie and I have now got it in my hard that I wanna go to see an Amphitheatre

I am hoping that there are sill some in europe that I could go and see, one that I can walk around and take some killer pics, The best know is of course the Colosseum, but I would love to walk its halls and feel its floor without having to look through a telephoto lens.

McDs giving health advice?

What this world coming to when Mcdonalds is giving the kids of the world advice for getting the body active!

This pic was taken from a happy meal box the other night, Getting kids moving is always a great thing and I dont mind McDs saying it

but the fact that they ARE saying it, Def says something about us!

The Bay Café (Camberwell)

The other day me and Fluff went to a little Café in Camberwell (If you could not tell by the title)

It was only to kill about an hour while waiting for something but its def worth a re visit.

With a nice hot Chokkie and salmon salad!

iPad and Photography

While I was away to southern lights, I had a little chat with a fellow photographer. He had his iPad2 with him and I really got to see how a Photographer would use such a tool, not only to view the images but to show Clients and do some basic editing.

But to add even more value to is you can use it as back up storage for your camera within seconds of taking them. Plus if you have used an iPad yet, you will know just how easy it is to use one, any ones grandmother could use this(You try holding a laptop in one hand and scroll over to many different pics with the other) Clients will love it and it makes you look great and up market.

Wii U controller...

New Wii add on, The Wii U controller, think Wii mote having a love child with an iPad and being brought up as a DS... But it does look like fun!

I dont have a Wii but both my brother and Mum have one so I could be playing on it some time soon!

Happy Birthday's

With 2 birthdays in one day (My Brothers and a close friend) I always feel like I should do both but today I could only do one... Or should I say half of one!

I went to my brothers for a few hours and had a great time, seeing some of the family and also grab a few quick pics

Southern Lights Prep

With Southern Lights coming up A little song comes to my head

If you have not seen "Into The Wild" then WATCH IT! RENT IT! do what ever you can cos its such a great film, people that are a little sick of the normal 9-5 will be inspired but this movie.

Showing that conformaty is not the only why to really be.

I cant wait for this weekend, It starts tomorrow for me but will go on till Monday

She had been away for the weekend for a school reunion, And I had not seen here since Friday morning, I'm just happy all the fluffs are back in the MSC!

A Great Day Part1

After over a week of waiting, My newest toy came in the post today.

With all the mess ups I did worry that it was not going to get here in time for Southern lights this weekend, But It got here and I'm really looking forward to spending some time getting to know her... I'm going to have to come up with something really call for her name

(I like to name everything)

I will have some pics up soon enough of my playing with it and it being all put together, but its to early for that now.

Play @ the Palace (20110605)

With a nice sunny day, You bet that some hippies are going to hook up...

Play @ the Palace was an event put on for all the spinners hippies and like minded people to meet up under the sun at one of London's nicest places "Alexandra Palace".

With a view of most of London, and a place close to my heart as I visited it every year of my life since I was 1 month old till I was about 19.

It was an amazing day of fun and photography!
